Kiosks & Digital Signage
To create an engaging retail experience, Yahoo! and Marshall Field’s turned to the multi-media-marketing software of Nanonation. Yahoo! collaborated with Marshall Field’s to create a dedicated area within its flagship State Street store in Chicago that features Yahoo!-branded products and services. The area uses numerous Internet- based kiosks, as well as plasma screens and digital signage to create a way for customers to see and sample cutting-edge technologies from digital cameras to keyboards.
Each month the kiosks and signage are changed to reflect various products and offerings from a variety of partners. In September Yahoo! focused the area on LAUNCH, its music destination. October featured SBC Yahoo! DSL broadband Internet service, while November features Yahoo! Games. The kiosks and signage are updated remotely to reflect the change in media content necessary for each month.
