Securus Technologies currently manages the commissary and telephone accounts for the majority of secure state facilities in the US. They needed to create an easier way for friends and family of inmates to add funds to an existing or create new telephone accounts.

Nanonation delivered the answer for Securus by creating a user friendly touch screen kiosk interface and integrating to the existing backend Securus payment processing system. Now in several pilot locations through the country friends, family and visitors to the facilities can instantly add funds to an existing ADVANCEconnect account, create a new account or request a service guide to be sent to their home. The new units have made the process far simpler for users than the telephone payment alternative.
