Direct Retail Kiosks

Room & Board, a leading provider of handcrafted, American-made furniture and accessories, wanted a way to leverage and extend its existing online catalog into its retail locations across the country. Room & Board was seeking a cost effective solution to allow its in-store customers to view all of the available products via in-store kiosks. The solution needed to play promotional content designed to attract a user’s attention and change as needed with remote updating and management capabilities.

The kiosk solution provided by Nanonation utilized 17” and 20” Apple iMac’s running Nanonation’s Nanopoint software. The software provides a customized wrapped-browser environment that both secures the kiosk and offers a means to remotely manage and measure content and customer interactions. The kiosks also connect to printers to enable guests to print specific product information.
