Payment Kiosks
CSG Systems is a leading provider of outsourced billing, customer care, print and mail solutions, and services for the convergent cable and Direct Broadcast Satellite markets. CSG offers a variety of services from customer acquisition and support to billing and customer care. CSG wanted to develop a compelling new self-service product that leveraged its existing infrastructure and services to deliver additional client value.
To meet this goal, CSG Systems teamed with Nanonation to create a self-service bill-payment kiosk for cable service providers across the U.S. The self-service kiosks enable cable customers to view their account and pay their bills with cash, credit card or check at a variety of public venues.
The project required the creation of an easy-to-use kiosk interface to allow cable customers to pay their bills, while leveraging CSG's existing transactional processing software and bill payment infrastructure currently being utilized by CSG cable provider clients. The look, feel and overall interface branding is unique to each cable service provider and can be modified based on the business rules required by each of CSG's clients. Some of the modifications include the addition of a bilingual interface for Spanish speaking customers.
The kiosk enclosures, developed by KIOSK, are equipped with a number of peripheral devices for accepting various forms of payment including bill acceptors, bar code scanners, credit card swipes, as well as a printer for receipts. The kiosks are networked and remotely monitored and managed as needed. There are currently over 70 kiosks have been deployed at various cable service operators across the US.
