Enterprise Software Platform Expands the Customer Experience
LINCOLN, NE - July 31, 2006 - Nanonation, a leading provider of customer experience software, released its latest version of Nanopoint and CommandPoint tools for Windows. The latest versions of Nanopoint and CommandPoint represent a new evolution to its industry-leading digital signage and self-service software platform.
The new products allow retailers, merchandisers, and manufacturers to implement customer-facing digital media networks at a significantly lower cost per unit, while taking advantage of the industry standard Windows operating system. Nanopoint and CommandPoint make up an enterprise-class client/sever software platform that allows users to create, deploy and manage customer interactions across a variety of applications and vertical markets.
Some new features added or enhanced include:
* Ability to manage and control multiple PC players and digital content over a distributed network
* Automated template and layout creation for multi-zone playback, including transparent overlays
* Improved ability to schedule special events, layout changes, and recurring media events
* Enhanced hours of operation control
* Ability to control external peripheral devices such as printers or other displays
* Improved reporting of health status of Player PCs, as well as media tracking and usage reporting
