Digital Menu Board Network Earns Silver for
Emerald Coast McDonald’s & Computer Help


LINCOLN, Neb. – (June 16, 2008)

Nanonation was awarded the 2009 POPAI OMA Silver award for its digital signage network implementation for Emerald Coast McDonald’s and Computer Help, a Florida-based AV and Technology integrator.

Along the sandy beaches of Florida’s panhandle coast, Emerald Coast McDonald’s franchises have deployed the latest in digital signage designed to inform and entertain patrons with visually-compelling, dynamically-targeted messaging and content. The screens are used as part of a digital menu board system and as promotional screens throughout the restaurant. Each location sports five to six digital displays in various sizes and formats (42” plasmas, 32” LCDs, portrait and landscape mode) all designed to enhance the customer experience. The screens display a mixture of content ranging from video broadcasts in English and Spanish, promotional information and product information of the complete range of menu items offered by McDonald’s. During special events held at each location, customer pictures are uploaded to the system in near real-time to make each patron a part of the experience.

The system is managed remotely as needed, or by local staff during events in which patron pictures are posted and displayed. The system was deployed and managed by Computer Help Inc. and runs on Nanonation’s software platform.
